They are all done with soak off gel polish—my preferred medium when working with nail art. It’s very forgiving! I used gel polish to do the heart and the roses. You just kind of blot a dark color on first, then add a darker color as highlights for the petals. Very easy! I had the magical opportunity of visiting the new Ulta store in St. George today. I should have been home cleaning and showering but I thought, “I’m just going to stop in real quick to try the new Benefit mascara my sister was telling me about….”

It really did end up being a fairly short trip. I was still in my sweaty Crossfit clothes, no makeup, dirty hair….not a great look for the local beauty store. I am not mad, but none of the nice girls …
I worked hard yesterday! And had fun doing it! It’s always a good day when I don’t get behind more than ten minutes….it turned out to be a great day! It didn’t hurt to look out the window and see a beautiful sun shiney day either! I am soooooo ready for spring!

Here’s a pic of my own nails. I used gel polish and layered OPI Funny Bunny with Pedal Faster Suzi. I cured both color coats and then dipped my nail bed in a light pink glitter mixture and applied two top coats to smooth out the glitter. When you do glitter with gel polish it will be gritty on your fingertips but after you’ve washed your hair once the grittiness goes away. Don’t try to file the ends to smooth them out or else the gel polish wont last as …

Doterra Breathe Essential Oil
Here is one of my favorite products of all time! It’s an essential oil from an amazing company called Doterra Oils that helps with respiratory function. My little boy has had respiratory problems ever since he was about 9-10 months. Which isn’t as bad as some kids. One of my friend’s son had serious asthma as a small baby! I’m sure all mother’s and father’s and caregiver’s out there would agree with me that there is nothing worse in life than having a sick child, right????

Sometimes in life we have to make tough choices. I don’t like it when those times come my way. I like easy choices. The object of this post is, you guessed it, a tough choice I’m about to make. One that is going to affect a lot of people. Which is even worse. However, it is going to affect the most important people in my life in a positive way, which is my only reason for making this choice.
