The story of the neverending vacation….

I’m on vacation….still…I think this is the longest vacation I’ve been on with my husband and son….and myself. I’m sure I don’t need to let you know how awesome it is. 🙂 I love this pic Tabeso posted on their Facebook page…pretty much sums it up right?

We toured San Luis Obispo County wine country and their winery’s a few days ago and that ranks right up there as a highlight of my life…

Strolling through Walmart yesterday I came across an awesome assortment of nail art paraphanelia, I believe in the jewelery aisle, and stocked up on some adorable International Themed decals, some quirky Love Note tattoos, and three rolls of striping tape! Woohoo! Oh, I also grabbed two stamping plates that have a love note stamp I’ve wanted for a long time! I also needed a new stamping scraper and stamper so I felt like it was totally justified. 🙂

Summer Braided Nail Design

My beautiful, funny, amazing friend Nicole got her nails done last week. Well actually she called it “making magic”. I think we did pretty good. 🙂 We used Gelish Carnival Hangover for the neon pink, Gelish My Favorite Accessory Stuff for the teal, and my favorite white, OPI Alpine Snow for the braids and polka dots. I think it turned out magical! 🙂

I did this with soak off gel polish…which is quite time consuming for the braided nail design. It’s a good thing Nicole loves hanging out with me 🙂 …

Funky neon rose nailart

Check out these cute, fun nails! I originally did them on my friend Tennille with Gelish gel polish and then decided to recreate them on myself with regular polish. Here is Tennilles version:

I used Make You Blink Pink by Gelish and then an assortment of bright gel polish colors for the flowers. You have to do a white base under the flowers in order to get them to really pop and stand out! 🙂
