Avila Lighthouse Suites–the perfect California Beach Resort

It’s that time of the year again! Time for me and my hubby and Westin to go on vacation! I am super, duper excited! We are going to California’s Central Coast…Santa Maria for 3 nights and Avila Beach for 3 nights. My brother-in-law is from Santa Maria and he and my SIL are staying at his folks house the entire time, but my husband and I thought it would be fun to get a room right on the coast for a few nights. Three nights is about all we can afford on the beach–prices are steep in the summer time! We are staying at the Avila Lighthouse Suites though which will be amazing! At first we were looking at staying at Pismo Lighthouse Suites but changed our mind once we found out how nice the weather is in Avila. I hope we can do lots of exploring and hiking and wine tasting while we are there as well! I have never stayed at a resort right on the beach in California so I am really looking forward to this little vacation! I’ve heard Avila is amazing and I am sure we will love it!

I have a big dillema on my hands though…literally…I can’t decide how to do my nails! Ha ha 🙂 I put a gel overlay on my nails because my cuticles have been so dry and ragged and usually it helps my cuticles when I thicken my nail bed, so I might still have the gel on my nails by the time we leave. If so, I am leaning towards either a deep red (for the 4th of July) or I thought a wine color would be pretty too. I seriously cannot decide…

I searched the hashtag #vacationnails on Instagram and came up with a few fun ideas. What do you think? (Disclaimer: Clearly I did not do any of these nails!) 🙂

I love getting nail ideas off of Instagram as I’ve mentioned before and I love that so much inspiration comes from all over the world! I wish I could travel all over and meet the amazing nail artists that come up with these creations!

I’ll be posting more about my trip, you can count on it, but for now I want to know…
