With all the crazy nail art ideas out there these days I don’t get a lot of chances to do a French manicure anymore. It’s still one of my favorite looks though. It’s just so classic and simple and it goes with every outfit. And the regrowth is wonderful…you can usually go quite a while with a French mani before it starts to be noticeable around the cuticle growth area. I did this mani pretty quickly yesterday. I just filed off my Imagine Dragons mani and redid the ring and middle finger. Easy Peasy. The more I look at it, the more I realize this mani would look amazing in the sand…on a beach…with waves and water and sunshine.

I saw this idea on BioSculpture’s Facebook page and loved it! Luckily, my friend Tennille was game with letting me try it out on her yesterday!

We used OPI GelColor Live.Love.Caranaval which is so fabulous! It’s not quite as bright and fluorescent looking in real life. Kind of in between Cajun Shrimp and My Chihuahua Bites. I absolutely LOVE it though! It applies perfectly too–I did three coats on Tennille which is what I usually do with all my gel polishes so I was totally happy with the results.

These beautiful nails belong to my beautiful friend Dena who just got home from Hawaii :-))) lucky girl!

We use gel push on her and she usually gets at least four weeks wear time–she has THE best nails EVER!

Blue, yellow, & white with Chevron and studs

I used OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui on my pinky and pointer fingers, OPI The It Color on my middle finger, OPI Alpine Snow on my ring finger, and China Glaze Angel Wings on my Thumb. I placed Art Club Nail Art White Gems in a chevron pattern over The It Color and hand painted the yellow chevron stripes with a Color Club Yellow Striper. I painted my nails to match my shoes! A first for me! Hopefully they will be lucky for our volleyball tourney tomorrow in Panaca, Nevada!!!!

I used China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy & For Audrey with OPI Alpine Snow and Black Onyx. The houndstooth stamp is one I bought in Amazon. It went on really well! I was super nervous but love the results!
