I’m doing the Californails Nail Art Challenge for November and just thought I’d share my gallery so far! 🙂
Day 1 was Movember and I missed it 🙁

These are Jessica’s Gelish mani–we used Gelish Forbidden Love, Need A Tan, and Jetset with Youngnails Mani-Q Green 101. This color combo inspired me to do my own….
I used my favorite maroon polish Essie Skirting The Issue and China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle. The gold studs are from Sally Beauty. I can’t stop staring at my nails…I think maroon/dark red is my favorite nail color of all time! 🙂

As many of you way have been aware, the VMA’s were last Sunday…I didn’t watch them entirely…I’ve seen bits and pieces of a few performances…my favorite one by far was Justin Timberlake’s AMAZING performance. Cashmere Bathrobe is an absolutely wonderful gray polish that I am in love with! It’s a stormy charcoal gray with the most subtle red sparkle. Imagine yourself wrapped in a soft gray cashmere robe sitting by a crackling fireplace on a crisp autumn night…that’s the best way I can describe this polish! 🙂

I grabbed the Essie Fall 2013 Sample Cube while I was at SalonCentric this morning and am swatching two colors today and two Friday. Let me just begin by saying these colors are fabulous! Both went on super smooth and almost opaque with one coat. For The Twill Of It will be a great color to use for stamping, much like Good As Gold is.
