Justin Timberlake Inspired Mani

There are so many more important things going on in the world right now but I thought I’d share a little bit of fun for the weekend…

As many of you way have been aware, the VMA’s were last Sunday…I didn’t watch them entirely…I’ve seen bits and pieces of a few performances…my favorite one by far was Justin Timberlake’s AMAZING performance. I loved everything about it. He is so talented and all his backup dancers were amazing as well. Here’s the video in case you missed it:

Pretty cool right? I love the styling of the crew. Everyone looks so classy and beautiful! JT is the whole package–he can sing, dance, and act. And he has great hair. 🙂 I hope that when I’m a rockstar in my next life I can keep it cool and classy like Justin. 🙂

Anyway, when I saw the sparkly red bodysuits and tuxedos and fedoras I immediately thought of a few of my polishes and how fun it would be to do a JT Mani 🙂 I gotta admit, I am not too sure about some of they styles at this current point in history. But if it’s good enough for Justin, it’s good enough for me…let me know what you think! 🙂

Of course I had to design the perfect outfit for this mani…I did a little research and found out Tom Ford helped Justin with his 20/20 wardrobe, correct me if I’m wrong, so I thought it would be appropriate to incorporate Mr. Ford into this outfit…

Justin Timberlake Experience Mani

I used OPI Deutsch You Want Me Baby? which is a metallic brick orange with a thin coat of China Glaze Ruby Pumps, which is a sparkly blood red. I wanted to capture the orange in the body suits as much as possible. I did all the black artwork with a StripeRite black striping brush. The ring finger is silver foil transfer…I wanted it to look more chrome like a mirror but I couldn’t get it to go on as smoothly as needed. If you go to my Polyvore link you can find where to buy the China Glaze and OPI polishes on Amazon…and the Tom Ford shoes, purse, and glasses as well as the Stella McCartney suit and Victoria Beckham lace blouse. 🙂

I hope you enjoyed this mani and Justin’s performance!

I’m going to leave with some thoughts on peace, love, and happiness. I think it’s a good idea if we all focus on these things and try our hardest to make the world a better place…

Wow! I loved your blog today! Very interesting. I haven’t watched the video yet but will! I learned a lot of plain old interesting facts, which I love!
I also liked the styles and so forth you were describing. Some things NEVER go out if style… Take us back Tina more “innocent era”.
Your mani was really creative as well! Who was the lucky model?
This is such an interesting blog.
We can always find messages everywhere: Face Book, Private Emails, the news…on the heavy and depressing things. Thanks for a little reprieve from the dark side if life. Lived the quoted you left at the bottom.
Kudos to a super good blog post!
