I can’t wait to try my new Brisa Lite Smoothing Gel! I was supposed to do my sister Mandy’s nails tonight but she passed up her chance for hot yoga….what gives???? 🙂

I’m really excited about the Brisa Lite system and am really crossing my fingers that it’ll perform as described. It claims that your gel polish will hold up for three weeks with the the new system. And the removal is supposed to be fairly easy.

So for professionals—you will use the new Brisa Lite base coat, cure, then the smoothing gel (I’m guessing a thicker coat than normal gel polish but not so thick it floods the sidewalls), cure, then your choice of gel polish color 2-3 times with either the new Brisa Lite top coat or your choice of gel polish top coat. The Smoothing gel should not require a finish file to shape but I believe the sculpting gel might. I am not positive though.

Although I don’t like to go longer than 2.5 weeks with a solid color of gel polish, it will be so amazing if this product has the durability and strength to provide a good 2-3 week wear with no chips or peeling. The kit was a great deal–it came with a full size base coat, Smoothing Gel, Top Coat, CND gel brush, Scrub Fresh, Gentle Remover, Solar Oil, and two files–for the price that just the base coat and top coat would cost by themselves.

I’ve seen it being compared to Bio Sculpture on salon message boards which is exciting because I’ve heard good things about Bio Sculpture!

So sorry I don’t have a review yet but keep checking back and I’ll post info as soon as I have it!
