I love all things vintage! And I love floral nail art, so I decided to do my best to combine the two. This is what I came up with!
I used China Glaze Dandy Lyin Around from the new Avant Garde Collection for the base on all fingers. The flowers are super easy. I used Essie Splash of Grenadine for the purple flowers and Nina Ultra Pro Passion Pink for the pink flowers. I use a thin art brush and make random splotches on the nails for the base of the flowers. I then go back with a darker or lighter shade, in this case China Glaze Tart-y For the Party on the purple flowers and China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy on the pink flowers. With this color I drew thin lines in a petal pattern inside the splotches. Flowers are really easy I promise! You then take a green polish and draw a few leaves in a random pattern on the outside of the flowers.
I did two coats of Layla Cosmetics CE 51 over Dandy Lyin Around on the thumbs and love the final results! It reminds me of a pretty vintage fabric and crystal chandelier! Let me know if you have any questions! Happy Spring!
