Love notes, kisses, and gold glittery hearts = super sexy and sultry!
I bought these adorable nail tattoos last summer and haven’t used them much. I threw away the directions right away on accident and applied them wrong so I was afraid. But then Fingrs posted a tutorial on how to apply them the correct way and my life is whole again. I tried to find them to buy online and it’s nearly impossible. Here’s a link to see all the patterns in the package and then it looks like Walmart is pretty much your only option for a retailer.
Here’s a video I made showing how to apply the nail tattoo’s and the glittery heart. I am so sorry my camera refuses to focus! My next investment will be a good video recorder I promise!
And here are the gorgeous nails we created on Tennille that made me fall in love with these tattoo’s!
I LOVE the application on gel polish with these water transfers! I did two coats of OPI Alpine Snow and then wiped the sticky layer off with alcohol before applying the tattoo. It went on soooo smoothly. I carefully scraped away the edges with an orangewood stick and made sure everything was really dry before I did the top coat but I feel confident these will last a good two weeks.
For the heart I mix Gelish Golden Treasure on a piece of foil with a little bit of loose gold glitter and an orangewood stick until I get a thicker consistency that won’t run all over the nail. I actually apply a little drop of the gold polish to the nail with the orangewood stick and shape it into a heart with a nail art brush and then cure for two minutes. I do one more coat to get it super glittery and sparkly and then do a few top coats to make sure it stays on really well.
The thumb has a stamp and I used my Shany stamping plate and Essie Good As Gold metallic polish. I never get tired of doing lips and kisses on nails…is that weird?
Here’s everything you would need to recreate this look EXCEPT the tattoos because I can’t find them anywhere. I sell several stamps on my shop that are similar which would be super cute but not the identical product I used.
There’s actually a lot more material needed for applying gel polish…I did a post on it yesterday you can see it HERE.

Thanks so much for reading! xoxo!

Anna,
I am so excited to see more how to videos from you! I do have a question though. Can I switch out gel polish for just regular polish in these videos? I love that glitter heart and I think that is something I might be able to do, but I only have regular polish!
Thanks
Hi Allison! Thanks for watching my silly video :)))) Yes you could switch out regular polish…you might need to do a few layer to get it to show up really well but just let it dry really well in between and you should be good. I need to do your nails again if you want and have time! :))) Take care!
