I’m sure most of you have heard that aloe vera is an amazing plant. A lot of people actually recommend drinking Aloe Juice for internal health benefits. Probably the most common use that registers when most people think of Aloe Vera is a remedy for painful sunburns. I usually buy an Aloe Vera plant in the spring at the nursery and use it during the hot summer months, plus I love the way it looks on my patio table. 🙂

You can find tons of products at any grocery store or drugstore claiming to be an Aloe Vera skin care product, but I’ve found the majority if not all of these products are loaded with other chemicals that counteract any of the health benefits the aloe vera will provide. It truly is an amazing plant! My husband’s grandmother “Grammy” had the most beautiful skin of anyone I’ve ever met and she swore she only used aloe vera daily to keep her skin glowing!

A few months ago my husband asked me to find a good Aloe Vera product for his dry winter skin and I immediately got on Amazon because I knew I could find exactly what I was looking for. I’ve been having weird pregnancy skin issues on my face too and knew it wouldn’t hurt to try a good aloe gel for clearing up my skin. I honestly spent hours researching all the aloe products on Amazon–who knew how many varieties of Aloe Vera there are! After way too many hours of internet shopping I found a product I decided to give a try and placed my order. It’s called Aloe Life Skin Gel. It’s made with organically grown Aloe Vera plants and is actually edible if you want to try taking it internally. It’s a thicker consistency though which is perfect for skin applications. I didn’t want a product that was too runny and would be messy.

I can honestly say my skin has improved tremendously since I’ve been using this product. When I wash my face at night I ONLY use this aloe vera gel as a moisturizer. In the morning I do a drop of this gel and then follow with a drop of coconut oil. My husband has been using it as well for his legs and arms and I haven’t heard him complaining of dry skin since it arrived on our doorstep.
