It’s funny the ways woman (and some men) like to express themselves through the color on their nails. Take the current election. All the world is currently watching what color Ann Romney and Michelle Obama choose to paint their nails, just like all the world is watching to find out what color tie Mitt and Barack wear to the next debate. Of course there are more important discussions than the color of polish or tie, but it’s nice to take our minds off current affairs and focus on something less controversial 🙂

After the DNC, elite supporters of Mrs. Obama decided to paint their nails blue until after the election day to show their political choice. Here is a pic of Katy Perry’s nails when she performed at a benefit concert for Obama, courtesy of Twitter and abcnews.com. Although I personally would prefer more red….and more Mitt….I am in awe of these perfectly detailed digits 🙂 It looks like it might have been done with some sort of nail printer and stamping possibly. Very cute!

Ann Romney is a beautiful woman who always dresses impeccably, and her choice in nail colors are spot on. She doesn’t gain the same media buzz as Michelle Obama, but hopefully after November, that will change 🙂 For the Republican Convention, she opted for a red on red look, and I love it. She wore a light blue polish with a hot pink dress for the second Presidential debate, which received loads of attention as well….some reporters even went as far as calling her “edgy” 🙂

I admit, I am liking the Right look right now, but the Democrats have great style as well 🙂 I think I am going to come up with a Team USA look this week and I’m sure any party will be proud to wear it. I love the United States and hope that whoever wins in November will do what is right for our country in all regards. Remember, election time is near. Register and vote. Educate yourself on the issues with an open mind. And don’t forget to show your support and get a mani in your favorite patriotic color! Hope your all having a great weekend!
