What’s not to love about this time of year? Nature planned it just right here in St. George, in my opinion, this time around. We got an incredibly wicked heat spell the last few weeks of August, after which was followed by a wonderful rain storm (desert rainstorms are the BEST!) and now we are enjoying some nice mild early fall weather that is (in my mother’s favorite phrase) JUST PERFECT! 🙂 Of course, it doesn’t even really seem like we had a summer, so it’s a little bit hard to believe that Halloween is right around the corner, but I’ll take it!
I’ve been really, really, really busy at the salon, which is wonderful! I’ve been trying to keep up on all the current trends, building up my collection of OPI’s new Road Trip Collection polishes (LOVE THEM!) and Shellac, Gelish’s, and Mani-Q’s new colors as well. I cannot wait for the holidays! I want to offer a really great holiday pedicure so keep an eye out for that.

Hey Anna- I’m not sure if you got my email or not but I’m dying to try mani q on my clients! Which beauty supply do you purchase it from? I’m curious to see which wears longer, shellac or mani q. Thanks!

We get our Mani-Q from Young Nails Utah, which you can find them on Facebook or the owner’s name is Amanda Dodge and her number is 801-885-6310. She is really great to work with! Let me know if you have any more questions! 🙂 I think you’ll love it 🙂 (And I actually LOVE the mani q base and top with Shellac colors–the longer wear times usually boil down to what base and top coat is being used, not so much the colors….)
