I signed up for a fun little Crossfit competition tonight…and I’m a nervous wreck!!! I didn’t do the Crossfit Open this year because it scares the sh$% out of me and I can’t think straight for six weeks. The only consolation I have about this competition is it’s only two days…it’s only two days…it’s only two days. I can do this…I can do this…I can do this…

I know I’m not the only competitor who gets nervous so what’s the big deal right?????

We do two workouts tonight–a one rep max clean and jerk and a 7 minute 45 pound power snatch and burpee combo. I feel pretty good about tonight but then tomorrow will be a different story. The first wod is called “Bodyweight” or some bologna like that…it’s a 12 minute wod and you get as much done in those long brutal minutes as you can of a mile run, 30 pullups, 40 hand release pushups, and 50 air squats. I do not feel good about that wod AT ALL but that’s ok. It’ll be fun. Said no one ever. 🙂 Ha ha ha. Just kidding it’ll be awesome to hang out with a bunch of fun Crossfitters for a few days and meet the guys who are behind the Gnarly label!

Oh, and about the nails, I used Creative Nail Design Vinylux Black Pool and Azure Wish. I did bright purple, blue, and pink foil transfers and hand painted the G with a strip rite brush. I then put a coat a silver sparkle Ceramic Effects over all the nails. I love this look! They kind of remind me of galaxy nails in a way….
