Essie Resort Collection 2013 In The Cab-Ana
This gorgeous polish is Essie’s newest blue and I am in love with it! It’s part of their 2013 Resort Collection….did I mention it’s fabulous?!? The application was flawless after two coats and the color is very rich and long lasting. You can see it’s much bluer than Mojito Madness but as dark a shade. It’s in the turquoise range, but maybe a little bit more blue, than Mint Candy Apple and Turquoise and Caicos, but much darker than both these colors. I think it’s probably similiar to Where’s My Chauffer but unfortunately I am not able to get my hands on this color. π
My fave part of this color is the name though! It takes me back to last Mother’s Day 2012. My little family and my sister and mom and sister in law and her family all went to Las Vegas for four days and stayed at the Trump Towers. My husband and brother in law rented a poolside cabana on Mother’s Day and I LOVED it! I want to go back to Vegas every year for Mother’s Day and rent a cabana!
Here’s a pic of my hot hubz relaxing outside the cabana π
And since we can’t spend every day in a Cabana on the Strip, I want a cabana in my back yard! It could be something as simple as this…
And then one day we will transform it into our own backyard “Las Vegas Strip-worthy Paradise” like this!
Maybe next time I am going to be spending a day in a cabana, I will combine Essie In The Cab-ana with Mojito Madness π I give this color two thumbs up, five stars, top ten! I loved it on my nails and know it would be super cute on my toes too. It might just be my next pedi! π
Thanks for looking! Check back soon–I am going to be posting a super fun Mother’s Day idea I’m pretty excited about π I wish it involved me getting a backyard cabana….or an all expenses paid trip to The Encore Cabana’s (they look SWEET!)….but it’s not quite that exciting….well actually it’s really exciting for my mom and your mom…so that’s pretty cool right? Anyway I’m rambling….let me know if you have any questions! Happy Wednesday! π

I actually like the first cabana, after the Trump one, best. It would look so awesome in your backyard and, what a wonderful place to get a pampered “Mother’s Day” pedi.

I have to say tho, it was also very awesome getting one right in your living room and this is something everyone could do! The added touches of the rose petals in the soaking water and the delicious little tray of Spring Rolls with your yummy dipping sauce was so very much appreciated. I could see you really put a lot of thought into this special pedicure.
Those are the kinds of things mothers love; things from the heart. A big thanks. Can’t wait to see how it looks on your blog. π
