My friend Tennille is taking a little getaway to Arizona this weekend and needed some fun nails to go along with her. I’m super jealous–she’s hitting up Pheonix, Scottsdale, and Sedona…with an Imagine Dragon’s concert thrown in! I love the Imagine Dragons so much! I told my son Westin when he gets a little older and doesn’t mind booming music we will go to a concert together and rock out 🙂

Tennille loves OPI GelColor Every Month is Octoberfest so we combined it with a “hippie” peace sign and a hibiscus stamp. I love the results!

I think these are perfect for a spring trip to AZ!

How I Did Them

Step One

Paint all but the ring finger with Every Month is Octoberfest. Paint a thin glittery gold top coat on the ring finger and cure for two minutes. Apply two more coats of EMIO to the four fingers and cure thoroughly.

Step Two

With a medium “dotter” stylus place dots in a circle all the way around the ring finger in a bright turquoise color to form the circle of the peace sign. Cure for 30 seconds. Next take a small “dotter” stylus tool and place the center of the peace sign and cure for two minutes.

Step Three

Wipe the tacky layer off lightly on the thumb with 99% alcohol. Using Essie Good As Gold and a hibiscus stamper quickly apply the hibiscus design to the thumb finger. Let dry thoroughly. Apply two top coats to all fingers curing each coat two minutes. Rub a good cuticle oil into all fingers and enjoy your pretty peace nails! 🙂
