My Obsession With Mirabella Skin Tint Creme

I’m Obsessed!

I’ve written about this product before but I love it so much I figured I would tell you again…this time with before and after pics just so you can witness the miracle firsthand. 🙂

As you can see my skin has a ton of red in it. I think it is possibly slightly sun damaged. I always exfoliate my skin really well with either brown sugar or baking soda and then apply a tiny bit of aloe vera gel and a tiny bit of coconut oil as a moisturizer.

I've applied a thin layer of Mirabella Skin Tint Creme now. I didn't do any HAC'ing or contouring, as you can see. I look a little "flat" but the foundation covers my imperfections perfectly!

I’m not a makeup expert and I’m sure a true artist would do much, much, much more to this face to hide the wrinkles and shadows and bags but I’m always pleased with the fact that my redness and blemishes are covered after I use this foundation. My makeup routine is very simple. It consists of a few basic steps. First, foundation. Second, I apply bronzer below my cheekbones to make my face look thinner (which I might be overdoing these last days of my pregnancy…I need all the help I can get in that department!). Third, I apply a light dusting of blush on the apples of my cheeks. This article from The Beauty Department really helped me understand the importance of blush and bronzer. Fourth, I do my eyes. Somedays I usually always do a very light shadow over my entire lid but if I decide to wear eye liner, I won’t add dark shadow or vice versa. I want to get better at accentuating my eyes. Fifth, I fill in my brows. If I don’t do any other makeup for the day, which happens quite a bit if I know I’m not going to be seeing too many people, I will ALWAYS fill in my brows. I’m addicted. 🙂

I haven’t gotten in HAC’ing and I don’t use powder mainly because I don’t like to wear a ton of makeup or end up with creases and wrinkles from all the product at the end of the day. Like I said, some days I won’t even wear any if I’m spending most of the day in the house cleaning and writing.

So what’s your favorite foundation ever? I’d love to hear of some more amazing brands and products!

Thanks for reading!
